There’s nothing like a seaside campsite to get the most out of sun, beach life and water sports in Normandy. At the entrance of the campsite a pedestrian bridge takes you safely down to the beach.
Built in terraces on the hill, the 5-star campsite offers with its privileged situation magnificent views on the small cove of L’Anse du Brick.
Activities to do on the beach of L’Anse du Brick
At low tide, go down to the sandy beach and enjoy a tanning session comfortably stretched out on a beach towel. Your children will enjoy this big sandy beach to practice various beach games or build sand castles decorated with the most beautiful seashells.
The campsite offers rental kayaks for a short sea ride along the coast. You can admire the Channel coast while gliding pleasantly on the waves. For your safety life jackets are included in the rental. On request light combinations are also available.
Dogs are allowed on the beach if kept on a leash.
If the weather is not mild enough to appreciate the outdoors, you can still have fun in our heated indoor pool (water at 28 ° C).
Interesting beaches nearby
The beach of Collignon in Tourlaville (about 15 minutes away): you can practice paddle sea-walking, kayaking, sailing and land yachting.
The beach of Urville-Nacqueville (about 35 minutes away): A well-developed water sports base offers the following sports: windsurfing, catamaran sailing, kayaking, fly fish, stand-up paddling, land yachting and paddle sea walking. The youngest will be able to discover the marine environment during group lessons by participating in treasure hunts and fishing games.
The beach of Siouville-Hague (about 45 minutes away): THE surf spot in “Manche” where you can ride some nice waves. A surf club offers surf lessons and rental material. Windsurfing and kitesurfing is possible on this beach, too.
Landing beaches: if you are interested in the D-Day, you are a 40 minutes’ drive away from the Normandy landing beaches (Please check our availabilities in advance during this period).
If you visit Calvados while you stay in Normandy, drive along the coast where you will discover not only beautiful seaside spa towns (Deauville, Trouville, Cabourg, Honfleur …) but also many beaches such as Merville Franceville located next to Ouistreham.
