  • The campsite
Situated 10 km east of Cherbourg by the sea with panoramic views of Anse du Brick beach. During World War II the land of the campsite was a point of defense for the Germans directed towards Cherbourg. During walks in the heathlands, directly accessible from the campsite, you can discover the remains of bunkers. To relax after the visits: heated swimming pools and two restaurants with panoramic sea views.

  • Surroundings
Val de Saire  with typical villages and fishing ports (Barfleur, Saint Vaast La Hougue). Region of La Hague (the so-called Little Ireland) with its breathtaking cliffs and nature.

  • Commemorative places to visit
Utah Beach and its museum, Crisbecq and Azeville artillery batteries (near Utah Beach), Pointe du Hoc between Utah and Omaha Beach and the Omaha Beach area with the American Cemetery. This beach remained in history as “Bloody Omaha” because of the appalling losses suffered by the US 5th Corps there.
